Emma graduated from the North West College of Homeopathy (NWCH) in 2014, having decided to pursue the study of homeopathy after experiencing significant improvements in her own health following a period of ill-health during the final year of her Philosophy degree. Her passion for homeopathy, combined with her academic background, has shaped both her practice and her teaching career.
Emma’s primary teaching interests lie in case analysis, with a particular focus on the repertory. She believes that, although the repertory can initially appear daunting, a thorough understanding of its structure and application reveals it to be an invaluable tool that can greatly streamline the process of case analysis. She is passionate about sharing this understanding and helping students develop confidence in its use.
Emma’s graduated with honours after reading Philosophy and History, after which homeopathy became her principal profession following her graduation from NWCH. She continues to bring her academic interest in philosophy and her belief in the importance of intellectual rigour to her work at the college. Emma teaches Repertory and Case Analysis to first- and second-year students and serves as the Year 4 tutor and dissertation supervisor. She strongly believes that practitioners should be able to engage critically with differing perspectives on health and confidently articulate and defend their own views through careful analysis and reflection. She is committed to supporting students in developing these essential skills.
In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Emma actively supervises both chronic and acute clinical work undertaken by students. She wrote her dissertation at NWCH on posology and has contributed a range of publications, including a Homeopathy 4 Everyone article on sea remedies and several articles for The New Homeopath on sustainability in centres of homeopathic training and acute supervision within educational settings.
