Emma Cox (RSHom) BA (Hons)
Board Member
I have been on the board since 2013 when I joined as a student representative. I was co-opted back onto the board after I qualified. My ambitions for the college is for it to be clear and concise in its aims and delivery of quality homeopathic education and to find a balance between being supportive and nurturing of its students yet be streamlined and professional in order for this to happen.
I like to think I bring some useful analytical and lateral thinking to board meetings. I also try to pick up admin related tasks where needed and try to support the Chair and college Principal.
I have a good rapport with students both in classes and in student clinics and this enables me to keep in touch with the reality of studying and understand how our decisions impact them.
I have experience of moderating and running web-based communities and both this, and my education have helped me understand in practical terms that people have different but equally valid opinions and I try to find ways to bring them together.
