Post-Graduate Training for 2012
The North West College of Homoeopathy is delighted to launch a new Post-Graduate training programme starting in December this year, to run concurrently with our existing Pick & Mix CPD.
This programme takes some of the most innovative and exciting lectures from our timetable, and puts them together with dedicated Own Case Supervision and Practice Development sessions, to make a six-day course, that will be an invaluable resource to help with the growth of your practice.
The six days in the programme will be as follows:
Day 1 – Saturday 25th February 2012
9:45am - 1:00pm: Canine Live Case with Geoff Johnson. A favourite of NWCH, Geoff Johnson is back to show us another live case with a dog. In this case, Geoff will use the Sensation Method to get to the very essence of the pet in question.
2:00 – 4:00pm: Butterfly, Hedgehog & Rabbit with Geoff Johnson. An expert on treating animals, Geoff is also pretty hot on knowing all about animal remedies, old and new. In this session, Geoff will bring us the new remedies of the hedgerow, for you to take into your practice.
4:15 – 5:15pm: Own Case Supervision.
Day 2 – Sunday 26th February 2012
9:30am – 1:00pm: Radioactive Remedies with Geoff Johnson. And to prove that he is no one trick pony, Geoff uses something of his extensive periodic table knowledge together with some of his own cases in this lecture, to explore radioactive remedies.
2:00 – 3:00pm: The Noble Gases with Geoff Johnson. Continuing with the periodic table theme, Geoff will concentrate on group 18, the gases sometimes rare, sometimes inert, but always noble!
3:00 – 4:00pm: Own Case Supervision
4:15 – 5:15pm: Practice Development Supervision.
Day 3 – Sunday 21st April 2012
9:30am – 3:00pm: The Sensation Method with Janet Snowdon. Janet was one of the first homoeopaths in the UK to truly embrace the Sensation Method, and has trained extensively in India with Rajan Sankaran and his team. With a thorough understanding of the pitfalls and difficulties homoeopaths may face with this method, Janet can help you to avoid them.*
3:00 – 4:00pm: Heroin the Remedy with Janet Snowdon. Janet conducted the proving of Heroin in the late 1990s. Anyone can read through a proving, but no one can truly bring this one to life in the way that Janet does.
4:14 – 5:15pm: Own Case Supervision.
Day 4 – Saturday 16th June 2012
9:45am – 5:15pm: Molluscs with Jonathan Hardy
A full day to really get your teeth into the fascinating subject of Molluscs. Jonathan Hardy has been described by Angela Needham as ‘the most fascinating lecturer in homoeopathy ever’! Come and find out for yourself!
Day 5 – Sunday 17th June 2012
9:30am – 5:15pm: The Big Cats with Jonathan Hardy. And what could be better than one full day of the most fascinating lecturer in homoeopathy ever? Well, two of course! And this second day will see Jonathan concentrating on the majesty – and plenty else besides – of the Big Cats.
Day 6 - November 2012
The sixth and final day of our post graduate training course for 2012 is yet to be finalised, but watch this space for news!
