We are able to draw on the services of well-trained and experienced homoeopaths and conventionally-trained physicians from the North West and elsewhere. A brief C.V. of our main teachers follows:

I found homoeopathy in 1982 when I was healed of major chronic health problems. I immediately sought how to learn about it. I went to the only college then available, The College of Homeopathy in London. I practised for several years in Sheffield where I also ran a tutor group for NWCH students, before going to teach homoeopathy in Bulgaria for 5 years. This was a wonderful time and a great learning experience since half my students were medical doctors. I love teaching and working with students as well as the detective work of finding the best remedy for my patients. I also enjoy working as ... more...

I have been in practice in Leeds and Boston Spa, West Yorkshire, since 1990 and have been teaching homoeopathy in colleges since 1994. In life before homoeopathy (was there actually one!) I taught health studies and biological sciences to adults and children. Previous to that I was a research biochemist where I worked in a team investigation heart disease and other issues. After doing some short courses I did my professional training at the North West and Manchester Colleges. My main areas of interest in homoeopathy are practical philosophy and clinical practice. I believe it is im... more...

I chair the College Board, drawing on my experience in community action and as Director of Bristol Council for Voluntary Service. My job is to create frameworks which allow the real purpose of the College to flow, to encourage, and to manage the business of the formal organisation. I was lucky to find colleagues in the Board, many more experienced homoeopaths than I am, who share my vision of a well-managed social enterprise college for adults to grow in awareness and wisdom. I teach Repertory, the homoeopathic tool that links the symptoms to the remedy, and first year Philosophy, when I get ... more...

I qualified as a Homoeopath in 1993 and since that time have been working mainly in Leeds. Nowadays, I find a lot of my clients are wanting to use Homoeopathy to support them in personal growth & development; or to break links to older patterns of thought & emotion. Not surprisingly, this reflects my interest!! My role in NWCH is as a Personal & Professional Development (PPD) Lecturer - a subject I am passionate about. For me, this subject supports the growth & development of the Homoeopath as they embrace & make their own the enormous raft of skills we have as Homeoopaths. I have ... more...

I have been a homoeopath for over 10 years and love to impart my enthusiasm and knowledge to anyone who will listen. I enjoy practising and teaching and think supervision is the key to great homoeopaths. I know our college does great supervision and therefore produces great homoeopaths and I am proud to be a part of that. more...

I was drawn to study homeopathy at NWCH in 1994, graduating in 1998 when I set up practice in south Manchester. I work from home and have steadily built up my practice which includes treating children, men and women of all ages. I have stayed in contact with NWCH since being a student, initially as a tutor and then as a supervisor and lecturer. I find supervision work for the college fulfilling and enjoy one to one work supporting individual case work and personal development. I also supervise practitioners and I am one of the Society of Homeopaths reviewers for newly registered members. I en... more...

My background in teaching and nursing has put me in contact with a lot of people. Studying Homoeopathy has helped me to further my understanding of the ‘human condition’ and the world we live in. I enjoy the detective work involved in analysing cases and working with students with whom I can share my knowledge and experiences. more...

My background is in teaching and I really enjoy meeting and sharing knowledge with others. I am a graduate of NWCH and have been involved as a clinician at acute clinics for over four years. This is where we see the real live cases and it is invaluable training for students starting their own cases. I have given presentations and talks, and run courses for the public. I offer regional tutorials from my home in South Manchester. I am also a college supervisor and enjoy working with students whom I seek to help gain their full potential. The best thing about coming to college for me is ... more...
