Sixteen years ago my two year old son was suffering from recurrent ear infections. After the third course of antibiotics I took him to see a homoeopath for treatment and his ear infections never returned. This experience stimulated me to train and work as a homoeopath. After four years study, I began working as a homoeopath in 1995. From 1998 to 2006 I worked in the NHS menopause/PMS clinic in Sheffield treating women providing a homoeopathic alternative to HRT. Since 2003 in addition to private practice I have been conducting research at the University of Sheffield into the effectiveness of homoeopathic treatment for menopausal problems and for fibromyalgia syndrome.
